Cladding And Fascia Cleaning – Your External Cleaning Team
If your building is looking tired, weathered and suffering from the tell-tale green staining, our cladding and fascia cleaning service is for you. We support clients all over the UK with this type of cleaning, using a variety of equipment.
What Do We Do?
Firstly, we’ll site survey. Our team will visit you to ascertain the scale of the clean, timescales and heights involved. Cleaning access will be assessed and a decision made on the equipment we’ll use along with any pre-treating chemicals if this is preferred. See our SITE SURVEY page for more information.
Equipment
Once heights are established, we’ll decide on the best equipment for the job. Access to the sides of the building will also be reviewed and we’ll decide if we use:
Cherry pickers/access platforms – These are ideal for higher buildings with ample access around the buildings. Some sites won’t suit this approach if the access isn’t satisfactory. We’ll work with you to assess the perimeter ground to ensure it’s suitable for heavy equipment to be operated on.
Water fed pole – Depending on the height of the building, we can use cladding cleaning equipment without a cherry picker. We are able to clean up to certain height with ground-based equipment. Yet again, this will all be discussed on the site survey.
Cladding And Fascia Cleaning – Things To Consider
Many clients are required to carry out cladding and fascia cleaning as part of their lease. It’s worth checking how regular this needs to be. Typically, it’s every 5-7 years. In other cases, it’s a lot more regular.
We’ll require access to the whole perimeter of your building. Our team will work with you to section off the perimeter to avoid the likes of parked vehicles on the days we are cleaning.
Due to the process and cladding cleaning, it’s likely your windows will need cleaning afterwards. We’ll talk you through this and either include this in the quote, or inform your window cleaner of the best date to attend.
